Galactic Transit Authority (GTA)

We monitor all massive events that produce gravitational waves such as black hole collisions. Spaceships can "catch" a wave and "surf" it across the galaxy at the speed of light.

We keep track of all the gravitational waves rippling through space-time and calculate when they will arrive at various locations. Like a train scheduler, we help spaceships time it so they can attach to these passing waves and "surf" to their desired destinations.

When two waves intersect, a skilled pilot can detach from one wave and hop on the other, thus changing course.
