Giving Earth Sunglasses

Giant "sunglasses" in orbit regulate how much sunlight reaches the atmosphere and surface in order to alter climate change.

Initially, smaller sections in Earth's orbit could be moved to provide "sun block" and collect energy at the same time. Eventually, the "sun blocking" technology would surround the whole Earth and would resemble a Dyson Sphere, which is described as surrounding a star to collect a high percent of its energy. Other forms of regulating the sun have been discussed.
